I've run across Aphelion: The Webzine of Science Fiction and Fantasy before, but forgot about it. I do like Sci-Fi short stories so hopefully I'll remember it this time.

Cheesy TV add set to cheesy music. I love I love horses!
thanks to Angel

{Edit} Woo! Dr Tricky made a page containing links to most of the "I love Horses" Bandwagon posts!

I can't believe that in nearly a year I haven't linked to
b3ta

The b3ta collective is a bunch of primarily British photoshopers (image manipulators) who have a penchant for bad puns and cute kittens.

People post their funny (and/or cute/weird) images or links on the message board. Where people can reply (with "woo, yay, and hoopla" if they really like it). There are in jokes a plenty. Some of them are explained in the FAQ, but they change often. Be warned the first page of the message board only holds a few main posts (i.e. not counting replies) so thread wasting and reposts (pearoasts) are frowned upon (unless you do it in the replies (known as threadjacking)).

The weekly newsletter contains links to the best websites found this week and the winners of the previous weeks competition.

Amongst the things the b3atens love are; kittens, Brian Blessed being loud, polar bears, kittens, pixalated animated gifs, The Quo, and The Fear.

Two of the b3tans have managed to get paid to put their creations on television.

Which America Hating Minority Are You?
Quite a nice little quiz. Picked me out as one of "the old colonials" aka european.

The Psalm 137:9 Project
I quite like the idea of a guy joining an anti abortion march with a banner that refers to the biblical quote "Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the rock."

It's been a while since I last read Coming Attractions. A list of films that are in production, stuck in development hell, or just rumours.

Since then both the Red Dwarf Movie and the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy seem to have escaped devlopment hell! Hooray!

The cast list for h2g2 is looking, um, intersting.
