For those who were wondering why I was going on about software patents in Europe, here's a quick summary.
Patents are granted to reward companies R&D by granting them a brief monopoly on an original and not obvious idea, provided they describe how that idea works for future generations.
Patents for 1-clicks and double clicking, are not, in my opinion, either original or non-obvious.

Politics

I don't know much about American politics, but G.W.Bush has always come across as a moron to me. So I agree with the sentemant of what has to be the longest URL I have ever seen JohnKerryIsADoucheBagButImVotingForHimAnyway.com
For those who want to know, douching is a common practice among women in the United States, however it is not recomended medically.

I was thinking about writting to my EU candidates for their stance on software patents, and someone has made a form letter. How useful.
