The Hitchhiker Guide to the Galaxy Movie has a website.
The only thing on it at the moment is the H2G2 Blog with a posting about the third aniversary of the death of Douglas Adams.
The IMDB h2g2 shows that they are not using the screen play as written by DNA but have a couple of other people as writers. One of whom co-wrote Chicken Run and Honey, we shrank ourselves. Hmm.

AI twenty questions.
It's quite good. Ususally gets there in the end (i.e. in more than 20 questions), even if it disagrees with your several of your answers.
Don't pick something too obscure though, its not got an infinte database.

Google Groups 2 This time it's personal! sorry, always wanted to use that as a tag line.

It's more than revamping of Google's Newsgroup archives. So far I like the look of it.

You can create a mailing list, which is public (avaliable to anyone to read or post to), announcement-only (Only Admins can post, anyone can read), and restricted (You must be invited to read or post, and Google will not search it).

You can treat Newsgroups like mailing lists. Post to groups of which you are a member, e.g. alt.alumni.warwick@googlegroups.com. You can choose to recieve all posts, a daily digest, a daily summary or just read them on the website; for each group you join.

Also there is a slew of pages for each (public) group/newsgroup, including a couple of Atom site feeds.

http://groups-beta.google.com/group/alt.alumni.warwick
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/alt.alumni.warwick/about
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/alt.alumni.warwick/feeds
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/alt.alumni.warwick/feed/msgs.xml
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/alt.alumni.warwick/feed/topics.xml

It's still in beta so expect the URLs to change in time.

You can sign up with any email address, but if you are signed in to Gmail, you are signed in to Groups2 too.

The Google feature wagon keeps on rolling.

I've seen it compared to Yahoo!groups with Usenet added.
As seen on Blogdex

It seems there is now an official Google blog, by Evan the creator of Blogger.
I prefer the fake Google blog. Just about all of Larry's post end with "Sergey says they're Evil".

The BBC have alerted me to the fact the there's been a few changes to the blogger.com design.
There is now a built in comments thing (turn on and off by post, and recieve comments by email), the ability to have things on your front page that aren't on the archive pages, email your posts to blogger.com, a profile page and a different posting interface, "the dashboard", which informs me that this in my #191 post.
So I expect this will spur me ionto redoing this page in CSS (which will apparently not work correctly for 7% of visitors, but will drasticaly reduce the file size of each page).
