Grocklaw has a nice article: Firefox FUD is Born.
One of the reasons I stuck Firefox on my parents computers is because it doesn't have ActiveX enabled (one of the main ways malware gets on Windows nowadays), and this stupid piece of Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt recomends you don't use it because of that!
Other than windowsupdate.com I don't know of a single site I would want to have the sort of access to my machine that ActiveX enables.
Also the article links to this humorous attempt to get Windows virii to run under emulation in Linux.

Thursday's webcomic
Over Compensating, is a semi-autobiographical daily comic (Well he has admited that he doesn't have a girlfriend in real life, and I suspect the bit with him riding a Giraffe was less than true). Not only is it fantastic, but it's not even his main work, his main comic is:
WIGU TV. Showing a different show each week (presumably showing more episodes of each series later). So far we've had an action packed "Science Cop", and a Heist show. Worth checking out now, so you can say you were there from the begining.
There was a previous incarnation called "When I Grow Up", that I never read. However the creator got fed up with it, wrapped it up, and started a new comic about the occaisonaly sureal adventure of little Boy called Wigu. It lasted for about one week comic time, over three years real time. Way to reuse that domain name.

The Firefox religion. On the design priniple behind Firefox
Actually, most of the articals on Mozillazine recently have been worth a read.
(aside: Is this site getting too Firefoxy? I was going to start a new section (when I move and have the ability to do sections) on firefox tips (as I there are many shortcuts and features I love). Comments on if I should start that (non LotD feature) now.
